Canopied by old-fashioned roses and guarded by box hedges, Herb Haven is 2 acres of tranquil herb garden located just 40 minutes south of Auckland.

Each part of the garden, medicinal, culinary, fragrant and cosmetic comes together to complete the overall sense of romantic peace. This colourful and vibrant informal garden is one for all seasons although it is at its peak from Spring through Summer. At these times the garden is a mass of colour and fragrance. The beauty of the garden lies in the fact that it is unfussy with wonderful character reminiscent of the traditional medieval herb gardens of Europe.

Herb & Bread-making Classes

Wow your friends and family with easy but impressive breads. Beginners' classes teach the fundamentals of bread-making. Advanced classes include Gluten Free and focaccia. September schedule of classes available now. Contact us below for course information.

Classes beginning May 2010!

Increase your knowledge of herbs, their growing and culinary uses, including the secret world of edible flowers. Bread and Herb Classes begin again in 2010.

Victorian Tea

Experience the Herb Haven Devonshire Tea, Victorian Tea or High Tea. Antique cake stands laden with delicate Lavender scones, decadent sweet cakes, savouries and sandwiches.

Our Products

We have a range of gourmet chutneys, sauces, mustards, jams and jellies. All are made using natural ingredients with no added flavourings or preservatives.

Herb Haven product was accepted into select stores in NZ, Australia and New York by popular tasting.
